“We’re interested in an all-inclusive resort!” It’s a common thing I hear as a travel advisor. Usually my next question is not, “Where would you like to go?” It’s: “Tell me what you want your vacation to feel like.” An all-inclusive can be absolutely perfect for your trip, but it can also be completely wrong. That distinction matters more than the number of restaurants on the property, the size of the pool(s), or how many cocktails are included in the nightly rate.

Honeymoon Adventure in Costa Rica
For our honeymoon, we wanted to go somewhere adventurous but safe, exotic but easy to get to, luxurious but relatively affordable. Costa Rica ticked all the boxes. We were a bit nervous about going in early November during the rainy season, but we got lucky, and it only rained on our two driving days and once at night.
